Services Saturday
Services for Mrs. Helen J. Day, 42, of 2411 N. Ellis St., who died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at Proctor Hospital, where she was admitted at 4:15 p.m., will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Davison Funeral Home and at 10 in St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.
Msgr. Gill Middleton will officiate, and burial will be in Swan Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. today, and Scripture services will be at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Day was born in Peoria Jan. 5, 1927, a daughter of Simon and Ann McGuire Connolly, and was married to William G. Day in Harrison, Ark., March 8, 1949. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and the Mothers Club of Columbia School.
Surviving are her husband; her parents of Peoria; nine children, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Genard of Peoria and Mrs. Bernard Sanner of Racine, Wis.; two nieces, three nephews and a number of aunts and uncles.
