Rev. J.F. Ockerman.
Rev. J.F. Ockerman, a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, died early yesterday morning at his home, 2410 North Calvert street. He was sixty-two years of age. Mrs. Ockerman, who was a daughter of the late Judge J.D. Armstrong, of Frostburg, survives him.
Mr. Ockerman graduated from the theological seminary at Rainsburg, Pa., and entered the Baltimore Conference in 1857. He was appointed to a charge at Birmingham, and later on served at Frostburg, Westernport, Hagerstown, Harve de Grace, Mt. Washington, Canton, in this state, and at Williamsport, Pa, Shepherdstown, W.Va., Martinsburg, W.Va., and Mt. Zion Church, Washington, D.C Two years ago he was superannuated, owing to ill-health. He was born October 19 1835, at Everett, Pa., where his mother, Mrs. S. Fletcher, is still living.
The Methodist Episcopal ministers at their weekly meeting yesterday passed resolutions on the death of Mr. Ockerman.

Rev. J.F. Ockerman, who some years ago was pastor of Mount Zion, now Fifteenth Street M.E. Church, this city, died recently at his home in Baltimore, after a long illness. Mr. Ockerman was in his sixty-fourth year and was on the superannuated list. He leaves a widow.
