MISSOULA ---A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Hardin's Fairview Cemetery for Hulda Miller Fields, 84, died Feb. 19 at her Missoula residence after an 11-year bout with Alzheimer's disease. Memorials are suggested to an Alzheimer's charity or an American Indian scholarship program. Born May 31, 1906, the eldest of four children, she took over household responsibilities when she was a teen-ager and her mother died.

She attended the University of Montana School of Journalism. A member of Kappa Kappa Gamma social sorority, she later served as a local adviser, two-term province president and national membership chair.

Miller and his wife Emma; beloved wife of Ralph K. Fields (now deceased) and dear mother of Nancy Fields O'Connor and her husband Carroll O'Connor, and John Frederick Fields and his wife JoAnn; at home after an 11 year siege with Alzheimer's Disease. An alumnae of University or Montana and active with their Alumni Association. Kappa Kappa Gamma, Forest Service Wives, Kappa Mother, Phi-Delta Theta mothers Wives, the Camp Fire Girls and the Montana Committee for the Miss America pageant.

Also influential In the restoration or her father's work, Fred B. Miller photographs or the Crow Indian Nation and its subsequent national tour.

Survived by her children. Nancy F. O'Connor children.
