DELPHI — Ralph O. Wagner, 70, Rt. 4, Delphi, died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. Born in Buck Creek on Feb. 19, 1910, he was the son of John and Jessie Suter Wagner. He was married in Delphi on Nov. 22, 1938, to Hilda G. Fisher, who survives. A retired farmer, he was a graduate of Delphi High School and a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church, the IOOF Lodge and the Sugar Creek Conservation Club.

Also surviving are two sons, Jerry W. and Thomas E., both of Delphi; one daughter, Patricia Merrell, Brownsburg; one brother, Robert, Lafayette; one sister, Mildred Graves, Shoals; and nine grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Revs. Don Ashley; and Ora Myers officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Delphi. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung, Association.
