Tribbey, Okla., Aug 22 (AP) - A gas explosion in a home here yesterday killed four persons, one a month old baby.
Deputy Sheriff Bob Hart reported gas, accumulated while a stove was being installed, was set off when Kenneth Tate, 19, lit a cigarette.
Tate and Mr. & Mrs. William Parker, who were moving into the south side of the duplex, were blown clear of the wreckage. Killed outright were Mrs. Troy West and her month-old son, Carey Lynn. Troy West, 40, and Janice Rice, 14, a neighbor girl who was visiting Wests died in a hospital later. The house was blown 100 feet into the air.
