She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm; two children, Elizabeth and Stewart. The remains are resting in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Murray's Point cemetery at a later date.

J. Donald MacKay officiated and brought words of comfort to family and friends. The choir from Westminster Church sang Will Your Anchor Hold and Safe in the Arms of Jesus, favorites of the deceased. Committal services were held and spring burial will take place in Murray Point Cemetery, Merigomish.
