Margie Billinger, 87, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51 Terr. with entombment at Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. The visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8p.m. at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel, 11924 E. 47th St. Margie was born on January 9, 1923 in Baileyville, KS. She was a charter member of St. Bernadette's Parish and was employed as manager at St. Bernadette's school cafeteria for over 23 years prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jerry, and also 11 brothers and sisters. Margie is survived by sons, Jerry Billinger(Paula) of Raymore, MO and Ron Billinger(Karen) of Independence, MO; daughter, Carol Fain(Cliff) of Belton, MO; her brother, Earl Olberding; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
