Zepha later lived with her father and step-mother in Moberly, Missouri where she worked as a telephone operator. She married Wiltson D. Bailey on 26 Jul 1921 in Moberly. They lived in Denver, Colorado before moving to Los Angeles, California in 1923. Wiltson and Zepha had one son, Frank.

Death certificate indicates cremation with burial at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills, however, the cemetery office has no record of Zepha. Possibly in same space with son who died previously: Columbarium of Remembrance & Radiance, Lot 0, Space 61602.
