George was the son of Augustus Heicken and Maria Eckert. On 25 Apr 1898 he married Effie Davis and they had two children, Alice and Ida. They divorced after 1910 and he later married his second wife, Maggie Johnson Fronmiller. He was a tailor. George died at the age of 91.
