Grant Briggs, 70, of Bone Gap, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at Baptist Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Surviving are his wife, Helen; a son, Melvin of Bone Gap; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Bradham of Paris; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Zadie Blackford of Browns, and Mrs. Julia Michels of Anderson, Ind.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, Ill., with burial in Bone Gap Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
