Lee Roy Menefee, 72 of Boise, Idaho formerly of San Bernardino, died January 28, 2006 at a Boise nursing home. Lee Roy was born in St. Louis, Missouri and lived most of his life in San Bernardino and Yucaipa, CA.
He worked as a contractor until a stroke in 1996 necessitated his move to Boise.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He shared 50 years of marriage with Donna Jean Stewart.
Lee Roy is survived by his wife, Donna Jean and his three daughters and two sons-in-law, Colette and Garth Bogh of Highland, CA; Yvette Ashton of Boise, ID; and Jocelyn and Trevor Hunter of Ft. Lewis, WA. He also leaves eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; his sister, LaVern Parmenter; and his mother, Thelma Menefee.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor, Garden City, ID.
