MORA LADY PASSES TO GREAT BEYOND SUNDAY EVENING

Mrs. Hulda Nelson Dies Following Illness With Pneumonia.

Mrs. Hulda Nelson of Mora passed away Sunday evening at 6:40 o'clock after an illness of two weeks. On Sunday February 5, she became ill while her children were home to celebrate her 68th birthday, Pneumonia developed into pleurisy, and a complication of ailments affected her heart. All her children were with her last Sunday, Mrs. Alvin Leifgren leaving for her home at Day just a short time before death came.

Hulda Jensen was born on February 5, 1870, in Skane, Sweden. She was married there to John P. Nelson October 4, 1891, coming to Hawto, Pennsylvania, ten years later. In 1903 they came to Mora. Mr. Nelson passed away June 25, 1927. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Nelson. Two have preceded their mother in death. The surviving children are Mrs. W.M. Carlson (Astrid) and Arthur of Minneapolis, Ejnar of Hopkins, Mrs. Alvin Leifgren (Ranghild) of Day, and Hilding of Mora. There are also six grandchildren, and one brother at Ludington, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday at 1:30 at Erickson's chapel, and at 2 o'clock at the Grace Lutheran church. Mrs. Nelson was a member of that church and also of the Grace Lutheran ladies aid. Rev. Phillip Leaf will officiate. A quartet composed of Rev. and Mrs. Leaf and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Johnson will sing. Mrs. A.W.Jackson will be their accompanist. Pallbearers are And. V. Johnson, Peter Olson, Vernon Hillman, Aug. Spar, And. Bergstadt and Melvin Olson.
