Loretta (Red) G. Marcinkus, 81, of Kenosha died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in the hands of her loving family. It was her birthday. She was born on Sept. 9, 1930 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Peter and Petronella Kvietkus. She was educated in the schools of Chicago, Ill. On November 19, 1949 she married Albert Marcinkus in Chicago, Ill. She worked as a secretary for Kenosha Hospital & various Physician Offices and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Loretta had many interests and talents, but she excelled at nurturing and loving people and making people feel loved. Surviviors include her Husband Albert, four sons: Bob (Sue) Marcinkus of Kenosha, Steve (Mary) Marcinkus of Kenosha, Jeff (Ann) Marcinkus of Caledonia, and Mike (Tracie Parker) Marcinkus of Kenosha. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Justin, Laurel, Jessica, Jenna, Brandon, Amanda, Arron, and Austin Marcinkus. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Gertrude Kvietkus, brother Bernard Kvietkus, and sister Cecilia Stulgaitis. Visitation will be Wed. Sept. 14, 2011 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224-30th Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago, Ill. In lieu of flowers memorials for the Wisconsin Kidney Foundation.
