SULLIVAN, Ind.- Special
George M. Mason, 77, New Lebanon, died at 10 a.m. Sunday in Mary Sherman Nursing Home. He was a member of the New Lebanon Methodist church.
Surviving are the widow, Emma; eight daughters, Mrs. Esther Gilbert, Universal; Mrs. Irma Roberts, Sullivan; Mrs. Alice Wilkins and Mrs. Kathleen Scott, both of Indianapolis; Mrs. Margaret Arnett, Mrs. Rhoda Shryock, Miss Mary Lou Mason and Mrs. Helen Shorter, all of New Lebanon; two sons, George Jr., Sullivan and Herbert A. West Terre Haute; one sister, Mrs. Nema Haas, California, and one brother, Clifford, California.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dale Jolliff officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
