Sometime after Velma's birth in 1913, the Reynolds' loaded up their belongings in a covered wagon and moved with their 3 children, Edna, Hubbard and Velma to Coleman County. It was near Santa Anna, TX that brother, Robert was born in 1915.
About 1919, the Reynolds' made the move back to Karnes County. Her father worked on a farm for her grandfather and the 3 older children attended the little rural Michna School. The Reynolds' moved once again back to Coleman County, TX about 1924. A family story says that move was made in an old car without a top. They camped along the way and finally settled near Whon, just south of Santa Anna.
They stayed for a year or two, but were back in Karnes County in December, 1926 when the last brother, Ivan was born. Written in Cynthia Reynolds' Bible is the marriage of Edna Reynolds and J. P. (James Pierce) Barnes in April, 1927 – Edna was 19, J. P. was 33. However, by the time Edna & J. P.'s first 2 children were born, Ruby Faye in 1928 and Juanita in 1930, they were living again in Coleman County near Santa Anna. From there they made a move to Milan County where daughter, Lucy was born in 1933 and on to Austin for the birth of daughter Mildred in 1935. It was back to Coleman County in 1937 where son, Eddie Ray was born and finally to Brown County for the birth of son J. P. 'Sonny' Barnes.
Sometime in the mid-1940's, Edna & J. P. divorced and she married Robert Daniels. Together they had a son, Bobby. The Daniels' continued to live in Brownwood until about 1966 or 1967 when they moved to Manteca, California to be near Edna's daughter. The remaining years of Edna's life was spent in Manteca; she passed away 15-May-1994. Edna was survived by 6 children – Juanita Bailey, Lucy Keith (Ezra Jr), Mildred Roe, Eddie Ray Barnes (DaOnne), Sonny Barnes (Dru) and Bobby Daniels and 22 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Ruby Faye. Survivors also included her sister, Velma Creekmore, and brothers, Hubbard (Jean), Robert (Vada) and Ivan (Birdie).
