Margaret Isabelle Ferris was born June 6, 1840 in LaGrange County, Indiana. (Note that her death certificate says June 6, 1842, but her tombstone and obituary says 1840) She married Isaac Miller Roush on March 21, 1858 in Sandusky County, Ohio.

She was the daughter of David and Mary Farris. Siblings are Sarah, Benjamin, James, Warren, Alvira/Elvira and George.

Spouse: Isaac Miller Roush, born Aug. 24, 1837 in Ohio, died July 18, 1896 in Detroit, Oregon. Cause of death was an infected tooth. There is no tombstone.
