"Roger B. Corliss, 69, died May 24, 2002, at Mount Ascutney Hospital & Health Center's Skilled Nursing Facility in Windsor.

He was born Nov. 19, 1932, in Windsor, the son of Leroy and Beulah (Amick) Corliss.

He graduated from Windsor High School in 1950.

Mr. Corliss married Cecile J. Demers in 1961 in Windsor.

He worked as a taxi driver for the Dan Goodell Taxi Service in Windsor and later for Aubuchon Hardware Stores in Windsor and White River Junction.

He later moved to Addison, where he became a store manager for Aubuchon Hardware in Vergennes for several years until his retirement.

Mr. Corliss was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea.

Survivors include his former wife, Cecile Corliss of Weathersfield; a half-sister, Sylvia Wilcox of Windsor; and a nephew and niece.

He was predeceased by his parents and stepmother, Beatrice Corliss.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor with the Rev. Lise Boulerice officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor.
