Born Aug. 6, 1916 in Rocklin, CA; passed away peacefully in his sleep on Mar. 25, 2006 at the age of 89, in Roseville, CA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Olive; sons, Robert, Richard & Gary; daughter, Patricia; 8 grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Charles was a WWII U.S. AIR FORCE veteran who retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1965 after 23 years of distinctive service.
After his military service he returned to Calif. and purchased a house in Orangevale where he lived until his passing. Charles worked at Douglas Aircraft & later went to work for the California State Employment Services where he retired in 1979. He was an avid golfer; he loved music and played a variety of musical instruments.
Friends are invited to a funeral service on April 3, 2006 at 2:00pm in the chapel at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback lane, Fair Oaks, CA.
Visitation hours are Sunday 12:00 to 4:00pm.
