Wessie McIntosh Metz, a retired Emergency Medical Technician, died Tuesday of a heart attack at Doctor's Hospital. She was 65. Mrs. Metz was born in Tylertown, Miss., and lived in Metairie for 44 years. She graduated from Lexie High School in Walthall County, Miss., and attended Nunez Vocational Technical School. She was a former employee of Baptist Hospital, where she was a Surgical Technician for 17 years. Survivors include her husband, Edward Metz, and four children and one stepson, a brother, Johnnie Ray Duncan, and a sister, Betty D. May.
