Funeral services for Glynn Cloud Perkins will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2014, in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel of Oakdale with the Reverend Mike Evans and Reverend David Ragland officiating. Committal service will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery of Oakdale under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Glynn, 67, of Pitkin entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 27, 2014 in Pitkin.
She was born on December 29, 1946 in Oakdale to the union of Cage and Martha Willis Cloud.
She was a Baptist by faith.
Glynn was a retired teacher's aide for the Allen Parish School Board.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cage and Martha Cloud; one brother, Vernon Cloud; and two sisters, Evelyn Miller and Joy M. Leonard.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, her husband, Odis Perkins of Pitkin; one son, Johron C. Perkins of Pitkin; one grandson, Kyle Perkins; four brothers, John H. Cloud of Cedar Hill, Texas, Hubert J. Could of Schertz, Texas, Walter P. Cloud of Elizabeth, and Ray J. Cloud of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Carrie C. Pourteau and Martha C. Hyatt both of Oakdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will begin Friday, October 31, 2014 from 8 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 10 a.m..
