Pvt. Jeungjin Na Kim of Honolulu, Hawaii attended Hawaii Pacific University before joining the Army, and wanted to become a Honolulu police officer when he got out of the military. Friends and family called him, Nikky. Iraq was hardly the paradise of his homeland of Hawaii, yet he would awake smiling. He worked as hard and long as necessary to get the job done, and he would accept any job. He is survived by his wife, Young Tolliver, and his son, Apollo, a son he never got to meet, and his parents, Jeung Kyoo Kim and Mi-young Jang. Although Punchbowl is full for casketed burials, space opened up when a family gave up its reserved plot. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was 23.
