Crews born Halifax Co., Virginia, January 9, 1807; married Frances Esters; moved west in 1830, settling in Weakley Co., Tennessee; in March 1875 he moved to Obion Co., Tennessee where he died September 6, 1884; he and his wife had married December 23, 1828. She died in McKenzie, Tennessee, February 19, 1881; husband and father.
