Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul's church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery. The rosary, led by the Rev. Fr. Lambert Schenkelberg, will be prayed at 8 o'clock tonight at the Olerich Funeral home, where the body is resting until the time of the rites.
Miss Scharnweber was the daughter of the late August and Josephine Scharnweber, was a member of a well-known pioneer family of Carroll. She was born here June 2, 1897. She received her schooling in SS. Peter and Paul's school and St. Angela academy.
Surviving are four sisters: Marie, Genevieve and Isabel Scharnweber and Mrs. C.E. Sampson (Lillian), all at home, 620 North Court street; one brother, Harry Scharnweber, Escondido, Calif.; one nephew, Wayne Sampson, and one niece, Diane Sampson, who are also at the family home.
Miss Scharnweber's illness extended back to February 10, 1948. She had been hospitalized at various times during that period and had been taken to the Carroll hospital from her home last Wednesday.
CARD OF THANKS - Our heartfelt thanks for the kindnesses, sympathy and beautiful floral offerings that came to us during the illness and after the death of our beloved. We especially wish to thank the sisters, nurses and chaplain at St. Anthony hospital.
