Myron Svboda of Yuba City passed away on February 18, 2011 at Yuba City Care Home, after a 3 year battle with cancer. Born on September 16, 1933 in Liberty, Nebraska, he was 77 years old. Myron was employed by Hollard Seed Company, of Colusa, as plant manager of the last 40 years. Myron was also an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. Myron is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Svoboda. He also leaves behind 3 daughters: Debra (Dave), Vicki (Tom) and Kimberly (Randy); 7 grandchildren: Shalynn (Josh), Ashley, Brittany, Kaitlynn, Amy, Bryce and Kayla and one great grandchild to be born in September.

Myron is also survived by 2 brothers, Kenneth (Shirley) and Gary (Sandy). He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia; father, Charles, mother Sylvia; brother Robert, and a sister, Dorothy. arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Graveside services ware to be held at Sierra View Cemetery on Friday, february 25 at 12:00 Noon.
