July 26, 1922 - Oct. 9, 2014
Bob passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Oct. 9, at the age of 92. He was born in San Leandro on July 26, 1922. During World War II, he served as an officer in the Navy. In 1951, after graduating from the University of the Pacific, he opened an accounting firm in Vacaville. He not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends he made during his 60 years in practice.
Bob enjoyed playing tennis, avid sailor throughout his life and loved his Irish Wolfhounds.
He is survived by his son, Robert Wayne Christensen (Virginia) of The Sea Ranch and his daughter, Kari Ann Christensen of Vacaville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Bob's granddaughter and caregiver, Cara Christensen, for the loving care she provided. Bob will be laid to rest at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park during a private ceremony with his family, at a later date.
