John W. Brinley, for many years a resident of the Elm Springs neighborhood, southeast of Marionville, died at his home at five Wednesday afternoon. He was in failing health and suffered a stroke late Tuesday.. He was born March 6, 1856.
Funeral services will be held at two tomorrow afternoon in the Bradford Funeral Home and burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Surviving are his widow, one son Ted, one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Arney, both of whom live in the neighborhood.
