Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Harris-Wells chapel with Rev. J. L. O'Quinn officiating. Burial in Monroe city cemetery.
He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Fannie Hargett Williams Holloway; a son, Joe Holloway Jr. and a daughter, Mrs. O. M. Smith, both of Florence, S.C.; three step daughters, Mrs. Ernest Lee and Mrs.Marvin Little of Monroe and Mrs. James Lindsey of Greenville, S.C.; a stepson, Douglas Williams of Charlotte; three brothers, W. J. Holloway of Asheville, Boyd Holloway of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and W. W. Holloway of Atlanta.
