Mr. William Frederick Murchison, 79, formerly of 4901 Lawndale Drive, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 1996, at Moses H. Cone Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mr. Murchison was a native of Guilford County. He was a retired plant manager of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, and a former member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Norwood Murchison; son, Larry N. Murchison of Wyoming; sisters, Margaret Gladstone of Greensboro, and Frances Vandergrift of Pittsboro; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, and other times at 831 Guilford College Road.
