Daniel Ray Neill, 59 of Andalusia, IL, died Aug. 23, 2003, at the Veteran's Administration Home in Knoxville, IA. Mr. Neill was born Nov. 13, 1943, in Independence, to Joseph and Eva (Hanson) Neill.
He was a baptized member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He had a pilot's license and enjoyed flying.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966.
He was an electrician from 1962 to 1985.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Neill.
His survivors include a son, Glen Neill of Evless, TX; one daughter, Lisa Johannsen and husband, Mike of Blue Grass; two grandchildren; one brother, Jim Neill of Strasburg, MO, and two sisters, Shirley Andrews of Starke, FL, and Norma Higgs of Independence, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, Muscatine, IA.
