BLUE SPRINGS – Timothy Franklin ""Tim"" Sides, 55, won the victory on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House after a diagnosis of cancer 10 months ago. Tim was born to Kermit and Edna Sides in Baldwyn. He had lived all his life in this area making his home the last 30 years in Blue Springs. Tim graduated from Tupelo High School and Itawamba Community College. He entered the work force at PeopLoungers in Nettleton, where his father was a founding partner, working on the dock unloading supplies. When the plant closed, he had worked his way literally through every department into top management. At his death, he was plant manager of Prime Designs, only surrendering his keys two weeks ago. Tim was devoted to furniture manufacturing all his life but was committed and passionate about any and all tasks he undertook, including his hobbies of golf, keeping his home and land well-manicured and hunting and fishing. He was an avid college football fan and cheered for all the Mississippi teams. Tim was a member of the Wallerville Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher. He will be missed by all.A life celebration service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Johnny Rakestraw officiating. Private burial will follow in the Brewer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday, all at the Tupelo Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Gale Hall Sides of Blue Springs, to whom he was married for 35 years; his son, Trevor Sides of Miss. State University in Starkville; his parents, Kermit and Edna Sides of Belden; his sister, Connie Dutt (Scott) of Tupelo; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Peggy Hall of Tupelo; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David Hall (Shay) of Tupelo; a nephew, Scotty Dutt; two nieces, Morgan and Lauren Hall; and a host of friends and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Scott Dutt, Scotty Dutt, Brad Hoover, Mike Roberston, Skylar Cannon and Josh Richey.
