"Mary Eggers Moore, resident of Kentfield, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2010 with her family in attendance. She was the beloved wife of James G. Moore of Kentfield...Mary was born in San Jose, California on March 9, 1928. She graduated from San Jose High School and University of California at Berkeley, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. As her family grew, she became active in various organizations at A.E. Kent Elementary and Jr. High School and Redwood High School, including the P.T.A. and the Redwood International Student Exchange. She became a licensed real estate agent and opened her own brokerage, MEM Realty, from which she retired in 1991. She loved taking long walks with her friends, traveling throughout the world, finding new and different books to read, and vacationing with her husband and family at their cabin at Bucks Lake. One of her great joys was to host holiday celebrations with many extended family members and friends ..."
