Alvin was born September 13, 1947 in Dalhart, TX to Jewel and Ruth (Blake) Adams. He served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War and was extremely proud to be a member of Bravo Company 75th Ranger Regiment. His decorations included Purple Heart and White Cross of Gallantry. On November 26, 1968, he married Judy Gregory in Stratford. Alvin was full of life; he loved to tease and joke. He especially loved to drive trucks. Alvin was of Baptist Faith and will be missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Alvin is survived by his wife Judy of the home; two daughters: Susan Adams of Amarillo, TX, Stephanie Adams of Craig, CO; a son: Justin Adams of Greeley, CO; five grandchildren: Matthew, Cheyene, Amber, Mikayla Adams, Nickoli Rios; a great-grandchild: Jaci Mae; a sister: Alta Anderson and husband Alan of Midwest City, OK; aunt: Velma Blake of Corsicana, TX; and a cousin: Tom Blake and wife Wanda of Spring, TX; and numerous family members.
