Gary Don Sexton, 51, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Peoria.
He was born February 19, 1963 in Blue Island, IL. the son of William and Virginia (Hatfield) Sexton of Bloomington.
He is survived by his parents William and Virginia Sexton of Bloomington; Sister Sandra (Carl) Swift of Trenton, IL; two daughters Melissa Sue Sexton of Topeka, and Sheree Herrin of Edinburg, IL; two sons; Jeremy Peak of Bloomington and Travis Peak of Naples Florida: 9 grandchildren, Joey, Cheyanne, Joesph, Isabell, Nathan, Ethan, Nathan, Kandice and Mikael.
His long time partner Alvina Peak; Brother William (Tony) Anthony Sexton, grandparents Frank and Ida Hatfield and John and Suzie Sexton preceded him in death.
Gary was the co-owner of Sexton's Pack and Load in Bloomington for 26 years, and a certified welder.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a private ceremony will be held. Memorials in Gary's name may be given to the Salvation Army. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Peoria is in charge of arrangements and notes of condolences may be sent using www.peoriafuneral.com.
