Dr. Galen Hubert Davis, age 85, of Canal Winchester, passed away at home on October 7, 2013. He was born November 1, 1927 to the late Claude and Laura (Sheridan) Davis in Pennsville, Ohio. Dr. Davis practiced medicine for more than 50 years and had his Internal Medicine practice in Columbus. He served the US Army proud during the Korean War and was a life-time member of Zanesfield Rod & Gun Club. Dr. Davis was also a member of the Church of Christ of Groveport.
He is survived by his sons, Gregory, Steven and Matthew Davis; daughter, Jennifer (Judge) McKenny; grandchildren, Colbe, Hannah, Arlen, Alex, Alesia and Macee; three great-grandchildre; son-in-law, Michael Boryca; sister-in-law, Stella Davis; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce A. Davis, daughter Susan Boryca and brother Claude Davis.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 1-3 p.m. at the Pfeifer Funeral Home, Reynoldsburg.
