He was born March 12, 1906, in Riverton, the son of Thomas and Laura Ramey Padget.
He married Gladys M. Rice in 1927.
Preceding him in death were seven brothers, Ben, Elmer, Clarence, Francis, Robert, Walter and James; and one sister, Viola Snodgrass.
Mr. Padget was employed by Weaver Manufacturing Co. for 50 years, retiring in 1973.
He was a member of Woodside United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys M.; one daughter; one son; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Staab Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Loveland officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
