Mary Cleo Sugg, passed from this life, February 26, 2003, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Center in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Mary was born to Sam and Vinnie Barker, at Dinsmore, Arkansas on December 23, 1910. Mary had five brothers and two sisters and she was the third child of the eight. Mary attended school in Liberty, Arkansas. She was lifelong Christian and presently belonged to the Baptist Church in Jerome.
On September 23, 1928, she married James Fred Smith in Dinsmore, Arkansas. Fred and Mary moved to Idaho in 1929. They were engaged in farming most of their working life. They resided in the Castleford and Twin Falls areas. Fred and Mary had four children, three sons and one daughter.
Fred passed away on July 28, 1984. Mary married Troy Sugg on September 12, 1985 at Huntsville, Arkansas. Troy and Mary had been childhood sweethearts, and they had seven happy years together until Troy passed away May 20, 1992. After Troy's passing, Mary moved back to Idaho, residing in the Jerome area until recently.
Her parents, all of her brothers and sisters, and her husbands, James and Troy preceded her in death.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls, Idaho. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Velley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
