Estelle Elizabeth Charles was the daughter of Thomas E. Charles of Wales & Lena B. (Bohner) Charles of Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA. Her parents were married on 26 Sep 1900, three years later her father died of an ruptured appendix soon after he had surgery. Estelle was married to Thomas David Lewis Jr., son of Thomas David Lewis, Sr. & Ruth Richards. She and her husband were the former owners and operators of Lewis Motors, a Ford and Mercury dealership in Montrose, PA. Estelle E. Lewis, age 91, of Montrose, PA, formerly of Scranton, PA, died at Endless Mountains Health Systems Hospital, Montrose, PA. Her husband, Thomas D. Lewis, died in 1986. A brother, Thomas Charles and a step-sister, Phyllis (Thomas) Batzel, predeceased her. Estelle was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church, Dickson City, Lackawanna, PA. She was a member of the order of Eastern Star Chapter 151, Montrose, PA.
