As an adopted child herself, Maude decided to take in hard to place foster children. After having 13 children of her own she had over 30 foster children in her care. She and husband Jay H Fisher were very active in the community, volunteering in the veteran's hospital and in Civil defense, in their church and many other things. I am proud to be 1 of the 40 grandchildren they had.
