Joe was born on November 7, 1931 in Cooke County to Joe and Oshie Russell Clark. He was retired from Lone Star Transportation as a driver and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Joe is survived by his daughter Mary Hogstad of Gainesville and son and daughter in law Tommy and Janet Clark of Tulsa and grandaughter Haylee Harris of Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Stewart Clark, his parents, grandchildren Todd Hogstead and Kelli Harris, brothers Gene and Kenneth Clark and sisters Kathleen Rasure and Lil Clark.
