Jack was a son of Gebhard/Hubbard Funk and his wife, Gertjie "Anna" Annan (both were of German nativity). Jack was a farm laborer. He went to the County Poor Farm due to his old age and lack of having a home. His health was fair and was admitted on February 22, 1923. Jack's death was due to myocarditis.
