Amy was the second wife of David Little (1792-1858). Amy and David were married on July 12, 1818 in Muskingum County, Ohio. Amy was the daughter of John Blue (a Revolutionary War patriot) and his wife, Margaret. She was the granddaughter of Uriah James Blue and Mary Jordan. Amy's exact birth year is currently unknown, but believed to be about 1788 or 1790 based on census records.

Amy was the mother of eight children with David Little including:

1. David Blue Little who married Susan Rightsel on June 2, 1843 in Greene County, OH. 2. Elizabeth (Little) Clark who married John Clark on May 25, 1838 in Greene County Ohio.
3. Catherine (Little) Fletcher who married Robison Fletcher on August 11, 1845 in Greene County, Ohio.
4. Sarah (Little) Andrews who married Thomas Andrews on May 28, 1853 in Adams County, Indiana.
5. James Franklin Little who married Margaret Barnhart on February 16, 1852 in Adams County, Indiana.
6. Jacob Little
7. Nancy (Little) Andrews who married Perry Andrews on March 25, 1853 in Adams County, Indiana.
8. another child who may have died as an infant

David Little also had two sons with his first wife:

1. Martin Little (died young)
2. John N. Little who married Sarah Miller on September 29, 1836 in Greene County, Ohio.

Please note: Amy died between 1840 and 1850. Some family histories have her death as 1852 but this is incorrect. She was alive in 1840, but she was not on the census with her husband in 1850.

***Updated DNA results (April 2022) - Finally, after many years of research and DNA comparisons, it has been proven by DNA that Amy Blue's brother was Robert Blue (1784-1840) who was the son of John Blue (1750-1833) and Margaret (maiden name unknown). It has also been proved by DNA that Amy's sister was Frances (Blue) Howard (1797-1838), also the daughter of John Blue (1750-1833) and Margaret.
Amy's mother died in Greene County, Ohio. Her sister, Ann, was married in Greene County, Ohio in 1812 and her sister, Isabella, was married in Greene County, Ohio in 1818. The three eldest children of Amy Blue and her husband David Little, were all married in Greene County, Ohio as well.
