In the 1880 he is living in Brooklyn with his family and lists Massachusetts as his birthplace. He died at his home in Brooklyn. His death notice in The Brooklyn Eagle says he was descended from Peter Folger who came from Holland in 1665 and settled in Nantucket, MA. Survived by four sons and one daughter. Was Vice President of Thomson Meter Company.
