Janice L (Slieff) Jones of Millington passed away Saturday afternoon November 8, 2014 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI. Janice was 71 years old.
Janice was the daughter of the late James and Virgina (Leach) Slieff and was born in Oxford, Michigan on December 22, of 1942. Janice married Mr. Gary Jones June 30th of 1961 and together Gary and Janice have celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Janice leaves her husband Gary, daughter Tanya Jones, and a son Gary Jones II, seven grandchildren, a great grandson, six sisters, and two brothers. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Besides her parents Janice is preceded in death by a daughter Michelle, a brother and a sister.
The Jones family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millingon on Tuesday November 11, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday November 12, 2014 from 10:00 am until the services begin. Funeral services for Janice will be held at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington MI on Wednesday Nov. 12, 2014 at 11:00 am. The burial will follow at the Gunnell Cemetery in Arbela Township, Millington, MI. Pastor Gail Allen will deliver the eulogy and the funeral message and committal prayer at the cemetery.
