Bert C. Clevenger, 84, of Poway died Monday. He was born in Melcher, Iowa. Mr. Clevenger was a machinist for 40 years at PSI Steel.
Survivors include his wife, Veva Clevenger; daughters, Myrna Poortinga of Ramona, Karen Collin of Cerritos; son, Craig Clevenger of San Francisco; sisters, Jean King and Norma Ripperger of Indianola, Iowa; six grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Private services were planned.
