He was born August 29,1941 to the late Woodson Lobb and Vera Marrs Lobb. He had made a profssion of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was a forklift operator driver for general Electric.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Bishop Lobb of Greensburg,for 51 years having united in marriage April 8, 1963. 2 daughters Anita Varela of Michigan, Lisa Webb of Louisville, 4 sons, Dennye Lee Lobb of Greensburg, Mark Lobb of Campbellsville, Neal Bishop of Campbellsville, and Mike Lobb of Greensburg, a sister Diane Brown of Greensburg, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews and other relatives & friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Denis Lobb will be conducted at 1 p.m. November 13, 2014 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville.
Visitation will be from 4 till 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund and cam be made at the funeral home.
