Born Jan. 4, 1921, she was the eldest daughter of the late John Henry and Eva E. (Neddo) Lunt.
For many years, Lily and her husband owned and operated Aiken’s Restaurant on Main Street, serving the best homemade food in town.
After the sale of the restaurant, Lily went on to work as the smiling waitress at the famous “Silver Diner”.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Violet V. (Lunt) Brooks.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery in Whitehall.
Arrangements are under the direction of Jillson Funeral Home Inc., 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY.
