Husband to Mary Frances Fudge Bowlin Hale

James Monroe Hale was born at Savanna, MO Dec 18, 1861, and died at the home of his son Jake Southeast of Jamestown,
Kansas, April 23, 1923, age 62 years, 4 months and 5 days. Mr. Hale had been ailing in health for some time but for the past few weeks seemed to be better then usual. He was stricken with illness just a few hours prior to his death.

He is survived by 5 children, Jake A. Hale of Concordia; John O., James E., and Steve, of Jamestown, and Mrs. Agnus Mosher, of Jamestown. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and 2 brothers, L. B. Hale, of Protection, KS, and E. D. Hale of Concordia, KS.

Funeral Services were held at the Jamestown, M. E. Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Conducted by Rev G. E. Rainsberger. Interment was made in the Jamestown Cemetery.
