Carl E. Hoag, 73, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at 4 p.m. at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Hoag graduated from Huntington High School in 1959 and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from Kmart in Manteno, IL, after 32 years of service. He later worked for Walmart for two years and for Bendix, in Huntington, for eight years. He was a member of the Etna Avenue Wesleyan Church, in Huntington, where he taught Sunday school.

He was born March 6, 1941, in Huntington to Guy Robert and Pauline Hasty Hoag. He married Evangeline "Vangie" Hammon on Nov. 19 1966, in Huntington, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Dawn (Bill) Lortie, of Albion, and Jodi (Todd) Duke, of Adamsville, TN; six grandchildren, Justin Lortie, Trevor Lortie, Shelby Lortie, Hunter Duke, Chase Duke and Dakota Duke; and a great-grandson.
