Phyllis Raye Williams, 55, of Eglon, WV died October 18, 2011 at her home following a battle with cancer.

She was born May 4, 1956 in Oakland, MD a daughter of Dayton Ellis and Dorothy Ruth Shahan Alexander.

Also surviving are 1 son Shad (Nikki) Green of Aurora, WV, 2 brothers, Michael (Jutta) Alexander, Andover, OH, Eric Alexander, Aurora, WV, 1 sister, Sue (Wayne) Watts, Aurora, WV, 2 grandchildren, Michaela and Kiersten Green, nephews, Bryan Watts and Trevor Alexander, niece, Becky Michaels, great nephew, Tyler Michaels and great niece, Amber Watts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Ray Williams on June 1, 2004.

Phyllis was employed as a restaurant manager at Point View Inn in Deep Creek Lake, MD.

She spent much of her time volunteering to help raise money for charitable organizations, veterans groups and children through the Deer Park Sportsman Club.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 23 at the Brookside Church of the Brethren in Aurora, WV at 2:30 PM with Rev. Scott Rush officiating.

Interment of her cremains will be held at a later date in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.

Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
