Della Fay Organ, 94, of Rice Lake, WI died on November 7, 2014. Della was born to John and Mabel Stetler on July 27, 1920 in Cumberland, WI and attended school in Cumberland. She married Edgar Organ on June 26, 1939 and they resided in Cumberland until 1998 when they moved to Rice Lake.

Della was a homemaker and helped out on their farm until her children were grown and then she worked as a housekeeper for various individuals in the Rice Lake area before retiring. Her favorite pastimes were baking, collecting and polishing rocks, doing projects on her home and taking care of her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Recently, she was blessed with 4 great great-grandchildren.

Della is survived by her daughters, Janet Brown of Lindstrom, MN and Lillian Jacobson of Rice Lake, WI; 2 grandsons, Randy (Lenny) Brown of St. Paul, MN and Bryan (Holly) Brown of Cottage Grove, MN; 5 granddaughters, Melody (Loren) Johnson of Shakopee, MN, Kim Brown of Lindstrom, MN, Kari Brown of St. Paul, MN, Lora (Ralph) Metheny and Ronda (Mike) Buhrmann both of Rice Lake, WI; 5 great-grandsons, Brett and Craig Brown, Darian, Devin, and Darvin Turner; 8 great-granddaughters, Amanda Brown, Destini Turner, Breanna (Shane) Bourasa, Nicolette Brown, Alyssa and Kayla Buhrmann, Nicole (Ricky) Gohde and Kara Metheny; two great great-grandsons, Zachary Bourasa and Gannon Gohde; two great great-granddaughters, Ysabella Turner and Dezire Spencer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar in 2011; a brother, Vic Stetler; 3 sisters, Jackie Peloquin, Ethel Miller, and Lola Frahm; two sons-in-law, Richard Jacobson and Lyle Brown; 1 grandson Jody Brown; 1 granddaughter, Pamela Brown; and one great-grandson, Justin Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church in Rice Lake, WI on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Richard Fossum officiating. Visitation will be held at Appleyard's Home for Funerals on Thursday, November 13th from 5 - 7 PM and one hour prior to the service at the Church.
